A stellar addition to the Larrakeyah Defence Precinct Redevelopment Program, the North-West Mobile Force (NORFORCE) project seamlessly blends functionality, security and local ingenuity.
Delivered over a short two year period, the NORFORCE Precinct is a hub featuring; headquarters, training and operational facilities. It caters specifically to the unique needs of NORFORCE, an integral force surveillance unit of the Australian Army Reserve.
A Cutting-Edge piece of Infrastructure, this project features highly secure conference rooms, multi-function training rooms, a two-story Q Store, and an extra-large workshop equipped with a ten-tonne Gantry Crane. These state-of-the-art amenities redefine the standards of operational readiness.
We relocated the Norforce Ceremonial Granite Boulders, each exceeding 7 tonnes. Meticulously dug from the existing facility on base, these symbolic boulders now stand as a cornerstone of the new NORFORCE, preserving the legacy of the past.
Our commitment to quality is evident in every detail. The finishes boast durable, high-quality surfaces, designed with low maintenance as a guiding principle. It’s not just about aesthetics; it’s about longevity and resilience.
In fostering community ties, we are proud to highlight that local suppliers played a pivotal role in sourcing a vast majority of the building materials. Our subcontractors, hailing from the Darwin area, infused local expertise, ensuring a project that resonates with the spirit of the Darwin region.
