The multi-award winning Marrara Netball Stadium was a design and construct $20 Million development commissioned by the Northern Territory Government.
Sunbuild won the tendered project through innovative thinking utilising their design expertise delivering significant improvements on the four-court functionality and interface of existing facilities. Also crucial to the overall project’s success was Sunbuild’s ability to meet the Northern Territory Government’s budgetary guidelines without jeopardising function and quality.
Significant stadium features include; a mechanical performance high temperature/high volume humidity control system supporting a 2,000-capacity stadium and a 1500 lux even light coverage system suitable for television broadcast. These inclusions will continue to attract national and international events to the Northern Territory further supporting the local economy and tourism industry.
