Winnellie Central reaffirmed Sunbuild’s reputation as a company that not only managed projects within budget but also delivered major construction ahead of time. In the case of Winnellie Central, the team was able to shave two weeks from the schedule: an excellent result on a $10 million project.
Vital to the success of the complex undertaking was Sunbuild’s construction knowledge and design input. At no stage did the company waver from their commitment to deliver the construction according to the client’s program, which hinged on moving the Fosters team before the Darwin Cup.
Stage one included the relocation of the existing Fosters Tenancy. Stage two required the demolition of the existing Fosters building and construction of the current Winnellie Central: a 13-tenancy commercial precast structural steel development consisting of civil works, cutting and filling and casting the precast on site.
